Iran feature ‘Believe’ to vie at Zurich fest

Iranian Film Festival of Zurich (IFFZ) in Switzerland has scheduled to screen the ‘Believe’ feature film.

Directed by Parnia Kazemi, the flick will be in contention at the Feature Film competition program of the event.

‘Believe’ narrates the story of a little kid who wants others to have faith in him. To gain their trust he does a lot and in his endeavors what changes is his worldview while his path will also alters.

Hadis Fouladvand, Aryan Yousefi, Arina Mirzaei, Reza Pashabadi, Donya Goftari and Ali-Ashraf Rezaei are among the cast members of the feature. 

The IFFZ aims to fill the cultural gap between Iranians and Swiss as well as the many foreigners living in Switzerland.

The event defines itself as “A Platform for presenting the Iranian culture and tradition and for building a bridge between different cultures by the means of the universal language of art and especially the 7th art, cinema”.

This year’s edition of the festival will go online due to COVID-19 pandemic, to be held on May 28-June 03, 2020.
